Is it true that everyone needs eight hours of sleep every night to avoid often terrifying medical illnesses? What’s so bad about using screens after dark? Why did my sleep medication stop working? I have good sleep hygiene – why is my sleep so bad?

There are many myths and misconceptions about sleep that have woven their way into our cultural narrative. This series of free one hour informational webinars seeks to address them. We’ll look at the science behind the myths and realities and discuss some surprising corrections to what we consider “common knowledge” about sleep. Other topics may be broader overviews of the nature of insomnia, discussion of cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia, or exploration of other types of sleep disorders.

Bring your lunch and join us on the first Thursday of each month at 12pm Eastern via Zoom.
